We think it's the best view in Victoria. * On the second Sunday of each month you can go to the Avenel produce market and see all the best locally grown veggies. |

Picnic in the park or just browse at Jacobsen's Lookout on the shores of the Lake, listen to live music and educate yourself about the artworld! Bring your easel or sketch pad and join in. This day is a for artists and people interested in the arts to mix together and learn from each other whilst providing an opportunity to exhibit works of art for sale and have a great day out. Bring a picnic or buy gourmet treats at the Nagambie Lakes New Years Eve Party. This annual event is getting bigger every year with spectacular fire works over the water at Midnight. Leading up to the count down is a family party on the banks. Bring your friends and family, set up a table or rug, listen to the music and party on! Dress up, make your group stand out in the crowd. Prizes for best dressed male and female. Kids entertainment, it's all waiting for you to enjoy. New Years eve on the banks of the Lake what could be better than that!

This is Victoria's only absolute inland water front market. Attractions include regular children's activities, coffee cart, produce, plants, cakes, sausage sizzle, artist, well being and quality collectables etc. and supports the community raising funds for the Scouts, Lions, CFA and more. The community market has a great atmosphere with music, great views, something to eat & drink, playground and entertainment for the children. Come and have a yarn with the locals and support the community services.
