Market News!

(click on lady for directions)

The Nagambie Community Market is held on the first Saturday of every month.

Our market has a great mix of quality stalls and is now located on the south side of the lake at Blaney reserve. We think it's the best view in Victoria.

* On the second Sunday of each month you can go to the Avenel produce market and see all the best locally grown veggies.

When is the bypass being started... ?

We have been promised by the current government that it will begin in 2009 and is expected to take 5 years. The Goulburn Valley Highway is to be duplicated, veering off to the east, skirting the township and leaving Nagambie to relax and enjoy the fantastic lakeside pleasures, with out the rumble of traffic.

We believe Nagambie as a popular tourist destination will prosper and grow even faster when the bypass is completed!
