About Nagambie:-

You will find us just 90 minutes from Melbourne on the Goulburn Valley Highway. Nagambie offers a wide variety of water activities and is host to regular rowing regattas including the prestigious "Heads of the River". If you're looking for a day trip, weekend escape, event location or tree change: here it is!

Hire a canoe or tinnie and travel along the majestic Goulburn River, see the abundant bird life, native plants & animals. Take a trip in the river boat between Mitchelton and the historic Tahbilk wineries. Stay at one of the many accommodation houses, motels, resorts, B&Bs and leisure parks or find a peaceful camping spot. Go fishing, skiing, rowing, sailing, boating & splashing.

If the water isn't your thing, visit some of the many cellar doors, eat fabulous food, take a drive or cycle through Longwood, Avenel and up into the Strathbogie Ranges. Fossik around the antique & produce stores, gem stone & art galleries, museums & markets. Pack a picnic and visit the old Whroo gold fields, see the historic bridges and the Goulburn Weir.

For more thrills you can go skydiving, four wheel driving, dirt bike riding or come to a crash and bash event at the Nagambie Speedway.

Too much? Try golf, play tennis, bowls or croquet. Need to recover? Enjoy a massage or spa treatment, a glass of fine wine and watch the sunset over the lake.

WOW, what a life!
