The Nagambie Community Market is held on the first Saturday of every month.

Our market has a great mix of quality stalls and is now located on the south side of the lake at Blaney reserve. We think it's the best view in Victoria.

* On the second Sunday of each month you can go to the Avenel produce market and see all the best locally grown veggies.


 
 

 

SNAP SHOT OF NEW DEVELOPEMENTS

The bypass is just around the corner and many developments are being started or in the conceptual stage that will, when completed, change the face of Nagambie and is set to double the population with a further estimation of 3000 tourists and visitors to be accommodated and catered for regularly.  The strategy planning is now underway to redevelop the main street, parkland surrounding the Lake and Regatta centre.  This place is really moving! NAGAMBIE LAKES LEISURE PARK Opened in Dec 2007.

This park is divided into 3 sections. Tourist - 35 cabins, 10 bunkhouses, 20 ensuite powered caravan sites and 110 powered caravan sites. All sites available for overnight or longer stays
Annual - Cabins and caravan sites sold on an annual basis.
Camping - 100 camping sites approx.
In round numbers they can provide accommodation for up to 280 people on any one night in cabins, plus 130 caravan sites. At capacity, the park will cater for about 2,000 people. See their advertisement on the STAY PAGE

WHROOVALE ESTATE

Whroovale Estate is a 76 acre residential 1 development on the N/E side of Nagambie. Stage 1 was completed in late 2005, being 21 residential lots sold out prior to the developments completion. Stage 2 (24 lots) is currently well underway and is sold out with completion expected in November 2007. Stage 3 is in the planning stages and will be approx 16 residential lots with an estimated start date of late 2008.

LOCKLAND GROUP DEVELOPMENT-“GLENCAIRN” Vickers Lane

This development is planned for the south side of the Lake.
“ a new concept in rural living in a rapidly up & coming township. This comprehensive project will include waterfront lots and townhouses, conference & hotel facility, major restaurant & reception centre, retirement village, cabin/caravan park & retail.”
The development comprises of 279 house lots, a commercial precinct with retail outlets, restaurants and conference centre, and a hotel that will accommodate 100 guests.

Underway on the corner of the Highway and Racecourse Road
“Ida Place” is an exclusive community village, with individually designed homes set among natural lagoon waters and landscaped streets. 2 & 3 bed roomed homes, all with modern amenities and quality fixtures and fittings.
