Rowing Victoria Masters Championships
The 2017 Rowing Victoria Masters State Championship Regatta will be run at Nagambie Lakes.
Nagambie is home to the Nagambie Lakes which form a regional reservoir, and venue for many state and national rowing championships.
The Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre is one of Victoria's major water sports facilities. The venue offers a 2000 metres, fully buoyed, National Standard rowing and canoeing course.

Australian Masters Rowing Championships
To be held at Nagambie Lakes from Thursday 18 - Sunday 21 May 2017, the Australian Masters Rowing Championships instil the desire for those 27 years of age and older to either become an athlete again or to learn to become one.
The social camaraderie, the racing format as well as the sterling competition and field size make this event a 'not-to-miss' for rowers and non-rowers alike.
With top-shape facilities, a big trade show display, extra coffee vans, a bar, many excellent choices for lunch, second lunch and elevenses as well as many top-class wineries and local taverns just a short trip down the road in Avenel or Longwood to sample the local produce, this event couldn't be in better surrounds.
Nagambie Lakes Community Market
First Saturday of every month.
The Nagambie Lakes Community Market is located on the grassy south-eastern bank of beautiful Lake Nagambie. Starting at Jacobson’s Outlook which runs parallel with High Street, the market then flows along the walkway to Blayney Reserve (behind the Waterfront Motel). The market runs on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9.00am – 1.00pm. Extra markets coincide with community or tourism events. The market runs with a make, bake, sew & grow theme that insists on a high level of local and Australian content.
Regular stalls include:
- Fresh local vegetables and produce
- Local & Regional products (sauces, jams, honey, furniture)
- Leather products, hats and socks
- Garden ornaments and plants
- Handmade jewellery
- Tech accessories
- Craft and giftware
- Books & DVDs
- Hot & Cold food and drinks
- Cakes and snacks
Take a drive to Nagambie, less than 90 mins from Melbourne and centrally located. The market is rapidly growing and has lots to offer with off street parking at Buckley Park and stunning views over the lake.
